Who We Are:

Brothers Mutual Fund, Inc. is a nonprofit and apolitical organization registered in Kentucky, USA. It is a coalition of Rwandans formed in 2003 by a group of Rwandan immigrants living in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Its main purpose is to ensure that no Rwandan faces basic financial needs alone, support and empower Rwandans to become self-sufficient and adapted to their communities at large.

 

Our Mission:

The mission of Brothers Mutual Fund, Inc. is to be a global forum to promote personal excellence through exchange of ideas, information, and experience and to empower Rwandans to become self-sufficient and adapted to the community at large. This statement is in no way to be construed to be in conflict with the charitable purposes for which the corporation was organized as expressed in the corporation’s bylaws.

 

What We Do:

1. Assist our members in their daily financial needs.

2. Raise funds for charitable organizations that serve Rwandans both in the United States and in Rwanda.

3. Undertake activities that educate the Rwandan Community about its rich heritage and culture.

4. Foster team spirit and camaraderie among Rwandans through community projects that bring people together.

5. Sponsor projects that foster a positive image among the youth.

 

Why:

We all went through and survived many adversities in the past, but we did not lose neither courage nor hope. We all aspire to a better future, and we strongly believe that no one can prepare it for us: we all have to unite our forces and initiate that future by ourselves right now. With Brothers Mutual Fund, Inc. we strive at creating a decent future for both current and future generations, a future that is filled with great hope.

 

How:

We currently depend entirely on members and friends contributions.

 

Membership:

The membership for Brothers Mutual Fund, Inc. is open to any Rwandan that subscribes to the purposes of and participates in the activities of Brothers Mutual Fund, Inc. and has paid dues as provided for in the corporation’s bylaws.
